Join the #25by25 journey with Field & Game Australia!

Published Tue 13 Feb 2024

We're on an ambitious quest to get 2,500 people to complete game bird identification training and have 2500 WITs delivered by 2025! This initiative is about more than just numbers; it's about fostering a culture of responsible hunting, conservation, and camaraderie.

BIG NEWS! Field & Game Australia will be delivering FREE duck ID TRAINING!

All we ask you to do is 'Register' your attendance at your chosen TRAINING session, HERE. If your circumstances change and you can't make it on the night, please email us at membership@fieldandgame.com.au and let us know, so that we can open up your spot to someone else. When you register for a TRAINING session, you will also see information about any Waterfowl Identification Test sitting that may be coming up at the same venue.

PLEASE NOTE: Waterfowl Identification Test (WIT) sittings must be pre-booked and paid for via the Victorian Game Management Authority's MyGL portal. To do this, you MUST have a MyGL account AND have completed the online training modules FIRST.

Here's how you can further support the cause:

Become an ambassador: Share your passion for game bird hunting. Your stories and expertise can inspire future hunters.

Volunteer: Lend a hand at training sessions and testing events. Your knowledge makes a huge difference.

Spread the word: Help us make "25 by '25" a movement. Share this campaign with your network and on social media.

Work with us: If you are a branch and you want us to arrange a training session – get in touch with the national office on (03) 5799 0960 or email conservation and hunting manager Glenn Falla at glenn.falla@fieldandgame.com.au

Whether you're volunteering, spreading the word, or simply being an advocate for responsible hunting, you're helping pave the way for a brighter future for game bird hunting in Victoria.

Stay tuned for updates on how you can get more involved with the "25 by '25" campaign. Your support is vital to building a legacy of conservation and responsible hunting for future generations.
