Disturbance, Distraction, and the War on Reality

Recent Victorian wetland closures have ignored real data and court rulings. Science shows ethical hunting supports conservation, while policy driven by speculation harms both wildlife and communities. It’s time to demand transparency, respect science, and protect responsible hunting.

Goulburn Murray Water Recreational Area Mgmt Plans Open for feed back

The first 10 draft plans are now open for review and comment. The draft Recreational Area Management Plans seek to formalise the ongoing use of these areas. While this is a welcome step, Field & Game Australia is committed to ensuring that hunting access is maintained and strengthened, and that hunters are acknowledged for the positive, evidence-backed contributions they make to conservation, land management, and regional communities.

Hospital Swamp and Dowds Morass Reopen

Field & Game Australia is pleased to inform members that Minister Steve Dimopoulos has officially signed off on the Gazette that means Hospital Swamp and the relevant section of Dowd’s Morass will be officially reopened to hunting, following the expiry of the closure notice gazetted on Tuesday, 15 April 2025.
