Have your say on the 2026 duck seasons

With the 2026 duck seasons across Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania now behind us, we’d like to hear directly from members about their experiences.

Throughout the season, FGA heard plenty of positive reports from members in the field, along with feedback on access, communication, regulations and other aspects of season management.

This short survey will help us build a broader picture of the 2026 season across the southern states, what worked well, what could be improved and where members would like FGA to focus its efforts as we look towards 2027.

Your feedback will help inform our advocacy, engagement with governments and agencies, member communications and planning for future hunting seasons.

Survey responses must be submitted by Friday 28th August.

What worked particularly well? This might include your experience in the field, time spent with friends or family, exploring new hunting locations, or other aspects of the season you’d like to see continue in 2027.

This could include access, season arrangements, communication, regulations, compliance or your experience in the field.

Were there areas where information could have been clearer, easier to find or more timely?

Can you give us an example of something FGA has enabled, supported or advocated for that made a positive difference to you, your family, your club, your hunting, conservation work or your local community? This could include access, conservation, mentoring, club support, advocacy, education, volunteering or helping create opportunities to participate.
