Event information
Registration for this event closes at Tue 13 May 2025 09:00.
Field & Game Australia will conduct a Duck ID Training Session on Tuesday May 13, from 6pm at the ETU offices. This session can also be utilised by individuals who would like to undertake the Waterfowl Identification Test but require technological assistance and/or need access to equipment (i.e. laptop).
The training session is FREE, however you must 'Register' (above) to book your spot and pay a $10 registration fee per person.
Registration fees will be reimbursed following registered participants' completion of the training session.
PLEASE NOTE: You must have a MyGL account AND have completed the online learning modules BEFORE you can sit the WIT. For more information on MyGL, click HERE. The WIT fee is $35.90 and must be paid for through the GMA portal.
Please ensure you arrive at the training session with your MyGL account already set up and the online training modules completed.
⚠️ A reminder from the GMA: a Junior can hold a Provisional Game Licence for 1 year for duck or hound hunting WITHOUT having to complete a test, BUT their Provisional Licence must be linked with a hunter who has passed that relevant test. To extend the game licence beyond the one-year period, the junior must sit and pass the relevant test for the endorsement to be added.
